I use an extremely reliable Apple Mac and a PC as a back-up system. I have a fast broadband connection and create each translation in TRADOS 6 Freelance Translator Workbench. Trados ensures that customers always have each term, expression and turn of phrase translated in the same way, even throughout different translations. If the text is accompanied by a glossary, Trados will help me to integrate all terms swiftly and easily. Trados also enables me to get organised and work together with other translators in larger projects.
